Music Will Save The World
Music Will Save The World (MWSTW) is a non-profit organisation founded by opera singer, experimental music artist and director Anna Starushkevych. It creates and supports artistic projects that explore the power of music to connect people, support well-being and engage with the social realities of the world around us.

Rooted in live classical music while embracing experimental and interdisciplinary work, MWSTW brings together artistic creation and social purpose. Its projects range from performances and new productions to cultural exchange, humanitarian initiatives and collaborations that use music to raise awareness, support communities and create meaningful human connection.

At the heart of MWSTW is a belief in music as a living, human experience — one that can affect people emotionally, mentally and physically, while also becoming a powerful means of empathy, dialogue and positive social impact.
Mission and approach
Organic music
Ambient music
Organic music, such as live classical music, uses natural sound production without relying on technology. It uses raw voices and instruments in acoustically supportive spaces like concert halls, opera houses or resonant outdoor venues.
This combination of sound vibrations and energy waves interacts with the space and has measurable effects on listeners’ brains and bodies.
Ambient music uses natural sounds, human voices and other ambient elements to influence brain waves. MWSTW experiments with ambient music and explores how it can affect listeners’ mental and emotional experiences. This includes participatory projects such as the Thunderstorm study, which explores the emotions, imagery and associations that emerge in response to experimental ambient music.

We explore how music affects the body, brain and mind through conversations with scientists, researchers, musicians and music lovers, bringing together scientific knowledge and personal experience.
Through collaborative performances and projects, we build cultural bridges between British and international communities, creating opportunities for exchange, connection and dialogue.
