A British-Ukrainian classical programme of vocal and piano music, interwoven with stories from Ukrainian history, performed by mezzo-soprano Anna Starushkevych and pianist Gavin Roberts. The evening also includes a screening of MAGURA, a short operatic film dedicated to people missing in war, and raises funds for UAid International’s humanitarian work in Ukraine.
BAroCK to the Future

Presented by Anna Starushkevych and Leopolis 415, BAroCK to the Future is a theatrical concert bridging the Baroque and the present through timeless human experiences — heartbreak, hope, loss, resilience, courage and mortality. At its heart is a simple idea: times change, people don’t.
Baroque arias and instrumental music, including Ukrainian Baroque, are woven together with narration in a continuous staged performance, revealing how recognisable the emotions expressed centuries ago remain today.
The programme will also feature a recent Music Will Save The World commission — a new Ukrainian neo-Baroque aria, creating a direct musical bridge between the Baroque tradition and the present day.
